How the application works

Six steps. You apply before installation.

Apply first, then start. If you sign a contract without a grant condition or start installing before you apply, you get no grant.

  1. Quote and BzA

    Your installer provides a quote and the "confirmation for application" (BzA).

  2. Contract that depends on the grant

    The contract only applies if the grant is approved.

  3. Apply in 'Meine KfW'

    Online, with the BzA ID. This date sets your rates.

  4. Wait for approval

    KfW confirms your grant.

  5. Installation

    Within 36 months of approval.

  6. Proof and payout

    Your installer confirms the installation (BnD). Then KfW pays out.
