If you email us at kontakt@foerderuhr.de, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and your message in order to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Emails to this address are forwarded by Porkbun LLC (USA), as our processor, to our mailbox at Yahoo (Yahoo International Limited, Ireland). According to Yahoo, it may also process these emails in third countries, including the USA, India, the UK and Canada, on the basis of adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Porkbun is not certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which are part of Porkbun's DPA: https://porkbun.com/legal/agreement/data_processing_addendum.

We delete copies in our mailbox no later than 6 months after arrival, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

If you write to us via the contact form, we process your email address, your message, your name if you give it, the language of the page and the time it arrived. The form does not store your message on our server; it sends it to us as an email to kontakt@foerderuhr.de (forwarded as described above), and your IP address is not included. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries promptly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We send this email through Brevo, a service of Brevo GmbH (formerly Sendinblue GmbH), Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, acting as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). According to Brevo, the data is stored on servers in the European Union; some of Brevo's sub-processors, including Brevo Inc. (USA) and Brevo CRM Solution Private Limited (India), may also access data from third countries. For the USA the basis is the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); otherwise it is the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Brevo keeps delivery logs (recipient address, subject, time, delivery or rejection) and deletes them automatically after 1 month (technically up to 24 hours later). To protect against automated submissions, we check each submission for an invisible field that only bots fill in, for a minimum time taken to fill in the form, and for an unusual number of links. We also limit the number of messages per IP address (5 per hour). For this, your IP address is immediately turned into a shortened cryptographic hash and kept only in the server's working memory, never stored permanently; the entry is discarded after 60 minutes at the latest.
